Bert entered the real estate profession in 1963. For 18 years he operated two real estate offices located in Seaside and Monterey. While with the Monterey Board of REALTORS«, he chaired or served on all major committees including serving as their Board President. He also served as Charter President of the Monterey Council of Real Estate Boards, Regional Vice-President for the California Association of REALTORS« and recently was on the Board of Directors for the Monterey County Association of REALTORS«.

Although specializing in residential sales and property management, he has been active in the construction of many new homes and professional office buildings on the Monterey Peninsula.

Bert and his wife, Rosemarie, have been married for 40 years and have raised a daughter and son, Christine and Steven.

Outside of real estate he serves as Vice President of the Monterey Bay Symphony and is the Publicity Chairman for the Monterey Bonsai Club.  He also enjoys golf, fishing, piano, cooking and reading.

Bert closed his Monterey office in 1995 and joined Alain Pinel Realtors as a full time broker/agent associate. He is a prime example of the high caliber of professionals we have at Alain Pinel Realtors.
